Introducing Dust Bowl Distillery!
Established in June 2024, Dust Bowl Distillery finds its home within the expansive Dust Bowl Brewing Company facility in Turlock, California.
As a nod to the company’s brand roots, Dust Bowl Distillery launched its portfolio with Original Moonshine. Crisp and clear, Original Moonshine is an 80 proof / 40% ABV spirit distilled from corn, malted barley and wheat.
Dedicated to enhancing the taproom guest experience, the company offers Moonshine slushies in rotating flavors in the Turlock Beer Garden, a perfect way to beat the Valley’s summer heat! (Seasonal offering.)
Cocktails were launched in mid August 2024. The specialty menu features hand-crafted libations featuring Dust Bowl Original Moonshine paired with only the freshest ingredients made from scratch in-house.
Limited 750ml Original Moonshine bottle sales are available at the Turlock Taproom.
At the helm once again is Brewmaster, Don Oliver, who has been honing his distilling knowledge over the years.
The boutique distillery features a 140-liter Carl still. The system was enhanced by the addition of a Vodka column and Gin basket from Minnetonka Brewing Equipment. The configuration allows for a broad range of spirits to be produced.
