Taproom

The Livermore taproom opened its doors in June 2023! The 10,000 square-foot facility offers a beautiful blend of Dust Bowl’s iconic taproom aesthetic complemented by modern finishes and hip furnishings. Guests are treated to the company’s largest draft beer offering served from an impressive back-to-back 30 tap tower. The outdoor Beer Garden features covered patio sections, communal seating, fire pits and corn hole. Food is offered by our resident food truck, Hazy Barbecue Livermore Pit Stop. Check out their food menu in the link above. Note: food last call one hour before taproom closes. You’ll find live music on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. The Scottish were some of the first in the UK to brew lager beers. Prior to this, they brewed ales at lower than normal temperatures with small amounts of dark malts. The Scotch ale is a higher strength version of this type of ale with clean malt aromas and flavors and a touch of crystal malt. Malt sweetness dominates this beer’s flavor.

Black Blizzard Russian Imperial Stout

Stout - Russian Imperial

ABV: 9.4 | IBU: 80

Originally a stout of British origin, this style of beer became popular with the Czarist Court in Russia. High hop levels and alcohol content, as well as large amounts of dark malts, allowed it to survive the journey to Russia and the surrounding regions. These qualities also make for a beer that ages well, providing layer of flavor that continue to develop over the years. A combination of chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt flavors and aromas are complimented by an assertive bitterness from both dark malts and British hops.

A blend of Citra and Mosaic hops for bright citrus and pine notes, and a hint of berry in the background. We leaned heavy into the medium crystal malts for a subtle sweetness to support the fruity hops and lend a beautiful light amber color.
