We are excited to partner with Red Engine Rides in Monterey for their Brewery / Pub Fire Engine Tour! Guests will have fun riding a fire engine and listening to music while cruising the Monterey peninsula. There will be three stops: Alvarado St Brewery, The Monarch Pub and Restaurant, and our very own Monterey Tap Depot with plenty of beer along the way!
American Craft Beer Week is May 16-22!
This week is an opportunity to celebrate independently brewed beer in the U.S. We are proudly Certified Independent Craft Beer and we are offering 10% off all to-go beer this week to celebrate!

To quote John Steinbeck’s “Cannery Row,” “There’s nothing in the world like that first taste of beer.”
We’re hoping that’s how you’ll feel at the National Steinbeck Center’s first Peninsula Pop-Up at Dust Bowl Brewing Co. Monterey Tap Depot on Wednesday, Feb. 5th from 5 to 9 p.m. The National Steinbeck Center will be showing some unique items from their archival collection related to “The Grapes of Wrath” while the Tap Depot will feature our own Dust Bowl-era brews. All Hops of Wrath pints and to-go beer will be $1 off during the event! So come join us and delve into Steinbeck history over some good Hops of Wrath India Pale Ale!

The Monterey Tap Depot is conveniently located on the Monterey Recreation Trail just steps from the famous Fisherman’s Wharf. Craft beer fans will enjoy 24 taps amidst a social vibe. Bar rails, communal seating and lounge chairs adorn the interior, while an outdoor patio offers fire pits, heaters, picnic tables, corn hole, and easy access to the Wedo’s Tacos resident food truck. Once a bustling train station in the 1930s, this location is aptly named the Tap Depot. First-come, first-served, no reservations at this location.
