We’re welcoming local children’s author Connie Tate to the Turlock Beer Garden for a special live reading on Thursday, October 29!

Connie is a children’s author and well-regarded educator who called Turlock home for more than 45 years before retiring. We’re excited to welcome her during her hometown visit! Connie will share from her own books along with selections from renowned author, Roald Dahl.

Added Bonus: this event will also bring us together to help support our longtime Dust Bowl server, Christina Rodriguez, as she prepares to run the London Marathon and raise funds for the Roald Dahl Marvellous Children’s Charity. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for children’s books and Dust Bowl gift cards, as well as make donations directly to the cause.

Bring a picnic blanket and join us in the Beer Garden! All ages are welcome, with the reading especially suited for kids in grades K-4. Snacks will be available while supplies last.

Join us for The Holiday Market pop-up at the Turlock Brewery & Taproom Beer Garden! Great beer & cocktails, photo ops, vendors and more!

Bring a toy to donate for the Aspiranet Toy Drive benefitting local children in foster care.

Our beer of the month for October is Dust Bowl IPA 19.2, 6.1% ABV 49 IBU

Try it on draft or take some to go!
