The Bay Area Craft Beer Festival returns to the Martinez Waterfront on Saturday, August 29, 2026 — reimagined as part of The City of Martinez’s Sesquicentennial Festival, celebrating 150 years of community!

This year, your ticket unlocks access to the Craft Beer Festival Experience — a dedicated tasting environment featuring top breweries from across Northern California, all set within a vibrant, all-day waterfront celebration.

This is more than a beer festival — it’s a celebration of craft, community, music, and connection.

The City of Martinez Sesquicentennial Festival is free and open to the public for all ages. A tasting ticket, valid ID, and wristband are required for entry into the Craft Beer Festival Experience (21+ only).

For the first time, the festival is part of a larger waterfront celebration — bringing even more energy, entertainment, and things to explore throughout the day.

The larger festival is free and open to all ages.
Children 12 and under are welcome with a parent or guardian.
Guests participating in the Craft Beer Festival Experience must be 21+ with valid photo ID.

Valid photo ID required to receive a tasting wristband
Access to the Craft Beer Festival Experience requires a tasting ticket + wristband (21+)
ID required to purchase drink tickets at full-pour stations
No alcohol service to anyone under 21

⚠️ Event Policies
No outside alcohol
No outside glassware or containers
No pets
Backpacks and large bags discouraged (clear bags permitted and subject to search)
Lawn chairs and blankets welcome
All tickets must be scanned at entry (printed ticket or smartphone barcode required)
Day-of tasting tickets available online only (credit card purchase via Eventbrite)

🚗 Parking & Transportation
Limited parking available at the Martinez Marina
Event signage and attendants will guide you once you cross the railroad tracks

We strongly encourage carpooling, rideshare (Uber/Lyft), Amtrak, BART, taxi, or arranging a designated driver.
Please drink responsibly.

This is a rain or shine event. Light rain will not result in cancellation.

In the event of severe weather or conditions impacting the event site, updates and any changes will be communicated and announced as needed.
