Reports to Lead Brewer and Brewmaster

Summary
Responsible for all aspects of green beer, dry hopped, fruited and brite beer production, as well as assisting in packaging operations. The position will also be required to clean all tanks and equipment, as well as assist in warehouse operations and possibly drive company provided vehicles. Depending on experience level, the candidate will start with cellar and packaging responsibilities and progress to brewhouse operations.

Essential Job Functions

1. Receiving, inventory and store raw materials and product (Verification of condition/quantity).

2. Dry hop (both automated and manual) and fruit beers in fermenters.

3. Operate filter and centrifuge for beer clarification.
4. Sample tanks for gravity, pH, CO2/DO levels, yeast cell counts and document all actions taken or changes occurring with a beer. Harvest and handle yeast.

5. Package beer in bottle and keg format.

6. CIP and manual cleaning of all tanks and equipment. Perform periodic maintenance to assist Maintenance Manager.

7. Troubleshoot equipment problems.

8. Interact with tap room staff and customers in a professional manner.

9. Drive forklift.

Language Skills
Ability to read and effectively interpret documents and manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with customers or employees.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as totals and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

Summary/Objective

Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and any and all cooking equipment. Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.

Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival to Taproom.  Manage our reservation system and the efficient and timely seating of our guest(s) to a table that best serves their wishes.

  • Schedule all  reservations using Resy.

Qualifications

  • No previous restaurant experience required.
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Must possess both current Food Safety Certificate and Alcohol Certificate.

Brewery Maintenance Mechanic

Summary
The Brewery Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventive, periodic, and unscheduled maintenance of all brewing, utility and facilities equipment. The position will also be required to assist in other day to day brewery operations to support wort production and packaging.

 Monitor plant cleanliness, process applications, and materials organization and suggest improvements where needed.

Accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products, as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking; perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
